Reading of Revival of handicraft

new way of reading, very interesting!
READ ONCE always look at date, get background idea, puts in context.
IDENTIFY EACH PARAGRAPH
FIND EACH PART, IN EVERY SENTENCE.

INTRO: factually based, background argument
ARGUMENT: Analytical, compare, viewpoint.
CONCLUSION" personal opinion, justification, answers hypothesis.

modernism happened 100 years ago but defines how we design. There were no cars.
William Morris was egotistical and had a political agenda. he sets his angle of discussion for and against.
KEY CONCEPTS:
transition to machine production
lost individuality
definition and revival of beauty / quality of life
slaves to the machine production / working class
