design tells us about history not the other way round. Post modernity is everywhere from literature, philosophy to MTV, ice cream and underwear.
It is the state of ideology of being and is associated with after (post) modern.
In the 40's there where no men in factory's they were all at war women were instead, Rosie Fivet. then in the 60;s came housewives Kate Millet.
pop art simple animation easy to understand. people stopped needing and starting wanting. e.g Habitat applying to the masses.

Ettore Stottsass realised products needed to sell to the masses and man had to like it.
Aldo Rossi but a bird on a kettle which whistled when it was boiling. complete post modernity.

the word is meaningless its about the culture and association. Post Modernism only signifies.

i found this really interesting all about the order of space and control and power through invisibility in organisations such as hospitals, police, schools, army.
